Recent Work
In my collection of most recent work, I have drawn inspiration from henna design to create my own patterns based on Bible passages. This collection is two-fold inspired by the "yin and yang" power of light and darkness. The "yin" is represented in my work on dark stoneware with rustic glazing and slip-trailed designs. The "yang" is represented by my work by vibrant porcelain in which the designs are etched onto the surface in sgraffito style. Soon I will be sharing a blog post that goes more in depth on my inspiration and execution of this work.
