About Me

A lengthier version of this can be found in a blog post coming soon! In short, I fell in love with clay during my second semester of college at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I ended up adding on a major in Art and have had my hands on clay ever since! I have always enjoyed art and my parents put me in art lessons at a young age, but I had never ventured into 3D forms until my ceramics class in college. I am thankful for my time at UMHB and now at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. There have been so many people that have taught me along the way and there always will be... that is the beauty of the ceramic community! There are two people though who I owe so much of my ceramic journey to: David Hill and Ariel Bowman. Thank y'all for pouring into me and taking a chance on a young artist!
